Little Disciples Learning Academy

Photo & Media Release

Optional, always. Your child's place does not depend on it, you can say yes to some uses and no to others, and you can change your mind whenever you like.

Who we are

Little Disciples Learning Academy (LDLA) is operated by DKS Holdings LLC, 30 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801. Website: ldla.org.

Why this release exists

LDLA creates educational, faith-based and promotional content to support our mission of nurturing children’s learning, creativity and spiritual development. From time to time we may photograph, record or feature children taking part in activities, virtual classes, projects and celebrations.

This release lets you decide whether we may use your child’s photograph, video image, voice or approved classroom work, and where.

Classes themselves are always recorded; that is part of the Terms of Service, so families can catch up and for safeguarding. This release is only about whether anything your child appears in may be shared or published.

The four uses you can choose

You may say yes to some and no to others. If you have not said yes to a use, we treat it as a no; permission is never assumed.

AOur website

Your child's photograph, video image or approved classroom work shown on our official website, ldla.org.

BSocial media

Your child's photograph, video image, voice or approved classroom work in content on our official social media accounts, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.

CEducational videos and digital learning

Your child's image, voice or participation in educational videos, class recordings we share, Bible lessons, learning demonstrations and other digital learning content.

DMarketing and promotion

Your child's photograph, video image or approved classroom work in advertisements, enrollment announcements, digital flyers and other materials that promote the academy.

How to give or change your answer

When you sign up, there is one optional box for this release. Ticking it says yes to our website, social media and marketing (A, B and D); leaving it empty says no to all four.

To choose use by use, download the Photo & Media Release and Parental Consent Form (PDF), fill it in and email it to hello@ldla.org. The form you send us replaces your earlier answer.

What you are agreeing to

  1. It is voluntary. Saying no will not affect your child’s enrollment, their access to classes or their part in any LDLA activity.
  2. Only the uses you approve. We will not knowingly use your child’s image or recordings for a use you have declined.
  3. No payment. Neither you nor your child is paid for authorised use of photographs, recordings or classroom work.
  4. Privacy and identification. Permission to use an image or recording does not let us publish your child’s full name, contact details, records or other identifying information. That needs separate permission.
  5. Online sharing. Content published online can be viewed, copied, shared or stored by others. We manage our own posts carefully, but we cannot guarantee removing copies other people have made.
  6. You can withdraw at any time by writing to us. Withdrawal applies from then on: we will make reasonable efforts to stop future use and remove content we control within a reasonable time. It cannot undo earlier authorised uses or remove copies on other people’s platforms or materials already distributed.
  7. Who can give it. Only the child’s parent or legal guardian, or someone otherwise legally authorised, can give this permission, and they confirm the information they give is accurate.

If you say no

Your child joins in exactly as before. Before anything goes out publicly we cover or blur their face, or use a different clip; if a recording cannot be edited so your child is not recognisable, it is not published.

What we keep

Your answer, the date and time, the version of this page you were shown and the address your browser connected from, so there is a real answer if anyone ever asks whether we had permission. You can ask for a copy of your own record at any time. How we look after it is in the Privacy Policy.

Our other policies
