Refunds & Cancellation
What happens to your money when you pause, cancel, or miss a class. No small print.

The free week
Your first week is genuinely free. Nothing is charged when you enrol, and if you cancel before the free week ends you pay nothing at all — no tuition, no registration fee, no cancellation charge.
We email you two days before the free week ends so the first payment is never a surprise.
Cancelling after that
You can cancel any time from your dashboard. There is no notice period, no cancellation fee and no minimum term.
Because tuition is billed weekly in advance, cancelling stops the next payment rather than refunding the current week. Your child keeps their place for the week you have already paid for, and we would love them to come to those classes.
Pausing instead
If you are going away, or things are simply busy, pause rather than cancel. While paused you are not charged anything, and your child’s place is held rather than given away.
When you resume, billing restarts for the week you come back into and you are charged that week’s tuition at your usual rate. You are never charged for the weeks you were away.
A pause can run for up to 30 days. After that the place goes back to the class, because a seat held open indefinitely is a seat another family cannot have. Enrolling again afterwards is straightforward and you are welcome to.
The registration fee
The one-time registration fee appears on your first payment, after the free week. It covers setting your child up: their place in the class, their record, and their teacher’s preparation.
It is not charged at all if you cancel during the free week. Once charged it is not refundable, because the work it pays for has been done — but you only ever pay it once, and it is not charged again if you pause and come back later.
Missed classes
We do not refund or credit a class your child did not attend. The seat was held and the teacher was there, and with a class capped at fifteen that place could not be offered to another family.
If your child is going to be away for a while, pausing is almost always the better answer and costs you nothing.
Classes we cancel
If we cancel a class for any reason — the teacher is unwell, a technical problem, anything at our end — you are not charged for it. Where it falls inside a week you have already paid for, we credit it against your next payment automatically. You do not have to ask.
If something has gone wrong
If you were charged in error, charged twice, or charged after cancelling, email us and we will refund it in full. We would rather return money that might have been ours than keep money that might not.
Refunds go back to the card you paid with and usually appear within five to ten business days, depending on your bank.
If a payment fails
Cards get declined. Usually it is the bank rather than anything you did, and your child stays in class the whole time we are sorting it out. We are not going to take a four-year-old out of their seat over an expired card.
Here is exactly what happens, so there are no surprises.
- Days one to four. We email you and try the card once a day for four days. Your child attends every class as normal. Pay in that time and nothing else happens at all.
- After four days. If it still has not gone through, we pause the place. Classes stop for the moment, and we stop trying to take money altogether — no more attempts, nothing building up. You come back and pay when you are able.
- After a week paused. If we have not heard from you, the place goes back to the class so another family can have it. You are welcome to enrol again whenever you are ready.
The week that failed is still owed and you can pay it whenever you like, but nothing is charged for the weeks your child was not in class, and we do not add fees for a payment going wrong.
If money is tight, tell us before any of this. We would far rather pause your billing for a while than lose your family, and nobody here will make it awkward.
